DM-307A: Hybrid Cinematic

Created by leading electronic producers and cinematic composers, Heavyocity’s prized DM-307A drum bounty has now been formatted for Live. The collection spans electronic, hip-hop, cinematic and Latin sounds, and is available as five individual Packs or a single discounted bundle. There’s also a free taster Pack available containing selected samples from all five sets.

The samples have been expertly handled and curated across the differing sound sets, so come ready to use in your productions. Take the gritty, Lo-Fi one-shots and effects from the cinematic side of the collection - they’re designed by the same composers who soundtracked the likes of Tron:Legacy, so it’s no surprise you won’t need stacks of plugins to get them sounding good in your tracks.

AudioEase Altiverb 7 XL MacOSX-iND
Altiverb 7 is the industry standard convolution reverb plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows. It uses top quality samples of real spaces to create reverb, ranging from Sydney Opera House to the cockpit of a Jumbo Jet. Altiverb 7 is efficient on the cpu, offers many parameters to tweak reverb, is total recall automatable, and has 64 bit support. Every month Altiverb 7 users receive new impulse responses for free.

King of spaces
Longer than anyone in the industry, and with more ear for detail, Audio Ease has been traveling the world to record the acoustics of the very best sounding spaces. The results of hundreds of these travels are included with Altiverb 7. From London's Wembley stadium to the ancient caves of the island of Malta, and the churches, concert halls and rock studios of the cities of Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and New York.

The Browser
The Impulse Response library is now more accessible then ever because of Altiverb's new visual browser. Select impulse responses by clicking photos of rooms. Instant gapless loading, organise-by-size, and single click favorites are just a few of its features. The Impulse Response Browser contains a keyword search field, single click downloading and installing of new (free) impulse responses.

Altiverb 7 for music
Altiverb's concert halls and recording studio spaces are geared towards music production, but also its plate reverbs and digital reverb gear. But there is more for music: algorithmic brightness, modulation, stage positioning, and tempo locked gated and reverse reverbs. And you can make fantastic textures by using any sound as an impulse response.

Rhythmic Robot EII Synthulator KONTAKT
The Emulator II reborn as S&S synthesiser

Massive Emulator II-derived sample-and-synthesis machine in the style of the Roland D50

The Emulator II is a glorious slice of musical history, and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the process of turning it into an archival Kontakt instrument in the Emulator II Universe of Sounds libraries. But even before we embarked on that mammoth sampling session, a thought was stirring at the back of our minds. Wouldn’t it be cool if the Emulator hadn’t just been a sampler? Wouldn’t it be cool if it had been more of a synth as well?

Of course, the Emulator II did have some synthesiser-type capabilities: that awesome analogue filter, to name just one. But the dots didn’t really join up into something that you could use to create sounds from scratch. Enter the Synthulator, which is at its heart a very simple idea indeed: use the Emulator II as the basis of a sample-and-synth creation in the mould of the Roland D50.

Early S&S instruments managed a neat trade off between the undeniable accuracy of sampled sounds and the equally undeniable price of sample memory by dedicating a small amount of memory to a handful of short attack samples, which were then spliced onto synthesized (and hence non-memory-intensive) sustain waveforms. This trick relies on the human ear’s tendency to make most of its assumptions about the sound it’s hearing in the first few fractions of a second, and it led to some cracking S&S machines. Synthulator sits in that proud lineage.

Synthulator takes as its starting points a series of custom soundbanks, including all the core analogue waveforms (saw, sine, square, pulse, triangle etc). These we sampled into our EII and then back out again, to stamp them with all that wonderful 8-bit sonic impurity. There are also sustaining sounds taken from more complex instrument sources, so there are complex synth waves sourced from analogue and digital gear; and also things like the sustain portions of string and brass sounds.

Celemony Melodyne Studio 4 v4.0.4.004-R2R
Melodyne is a software application for OS X or Windows with which you can edit audio in a more musical way than was ever thought possible. In Melodyne, you work with notes – and not with a meaningless wave form. You don’t just see where the music gets louder or quieter but also where notes begin and end and at what pitch they lie.

You can modify each note and thereby influence directly the intonation, phrasing and dynamics – and do this not only with vocals and monophonic instruments but with polyphonic instruments such as pianos and guitars as well.

Working with Melodyne is like being able to say to a vocalist "sing this note a bit longer” or to a pianist "give slightly less weight to the third in this chord” – hours, weeks, even years after the recording session.

Melodyne 4 studio
The complete Melodyne. Melodyne 4 studio offers you all Melodyne functions for both correction and creative applications on an unlimited number of tracks. You can edit the sound and musical content of your recordings in such an intuitive manner or make such far-reaching changes with no other audio tool.

New technologies and a new degree of freedom for the entire Melodyne family. Celemony is releasing Version 4 of its legendary audio software Melodyne. This constitutes the most extensive update to the entire product family in the company’s history, with the emphasis on Melodyne 4 studio.

Highlights include the Sound Editor with its totally new sound design possibilities, DNA Direct Note Access – at last, on an unlimited number of tracks – and ultra-accurate tempo detection. Furthermore, Melodyne 4 studio now also runs directly as a plug-in within your DAW – also, naturally, in 64-bit resolution.
Prime Loops Pusher Add-On Pack WAV MiDi
This is the ultimate Add-On for Pusher's brand new Collection of Serum & Massive Presets, bringing you 138 extra MIDIs, 443 One-Shots & 21 Drum Loops

In parallel to the release of Pusher's brand new Collection of Serum & Massive Presets we now have yet another tasty treat for ya!

This is the ultimate Add-On for Pusher's skilfully created Serum & Massive Presets, bringing you 138 extra MIDIs, 443 One-Shots & 21 Drum Loops.

Here are some words from the Producer himself:

"MIDI Synth Loops: I have worked to make bass lines, melodies, and chord progressions that work together at a few different BPMs, and which leave you room to supplement with your own ideas. They are often 'busy' because it's easier to remove notes than to add them sometimes. They are hopefully a strong starting point for you should you be creatively stuck."

"MIDI Drum Loops: These are the MIDI breakdown of the included audio drum loops. I have arranged them visually as midi piano-roll views. The lowest octave is the kick, the next octave is the snare/claps, then hi-hats/percussion, and cymbals. These vary with the drum loops as some contain more elements than others."

"One-Shot Samples: I have included one-shots of sounds made from vocal and percussion recording, as well as from the Massive and Serum presets from the preset pack. I am especially excited about the percussion recordings, as they took days of tirelessly hitting objects with other objects, sifting out the most interesting ones, and processing them to be clear and strong. The 'pitched' one-shots (bass, lead, vocal) are best manipulated with a sampler, as they may be spread across a full keyboard and played as an instrument. Of course, they may be used however you see creatively fit."

Orange Tree Samples Jazz Funk Kit Extended ACID WAV KONTAKT
Long ago, spurred by the lack of high-quality jazz drum samples, we recorded a jazz/funk drumset. It's a relatively small kit--a kick, snare, two toms, and two cymbals--just like something a jazz drummer would play at a gig or low-key recording session.
Skilled jazz drummers can make a single drum or cymbal sound very expressive, evoking a lot of character and personality with each hit. That was our exact approach when sampling this drumset, concentrating on fewer but higher quality kit pieces. The drum library features unique and rare drums, and cymbals and has an excellent tone suitable for jazz and funk.

All the WAV samples are included in the download, and are clearly labeled, making a conversion fairly straight-forward.

Includes more than 1500 one-shots of drums and percussions.
