Wave Arts Tube Saturator 2 v2.11-R2R
Tube Saturator 2 is a super accurate circuit simulation of a tube pre-amp with analog EQ, which can be overdriven gently for warming effects, or cranked for fat distortion. Like its predecessor, Tube Saturator, TS-2 is based on circuit simulation techology to capture every nuance of an analog circuit.

The circuit consisting of the individual tubes, resistors, and capacitors is converted into a mathematical system of equations which is numerically solved to produce the exact same sound as a real circuit. But while the original consumed large amounts of CPU power, TS-2 is now super efficient. The Saturation section of TS-2 runs about 7x faster than the original and yet the modelling is even more accurate. TS-2 includes the original circuit simulation of the three band Baxandall type EQ as found in many guitar amplifiers.

In addition to this breakthrough improvement in speed, TS-2 has many new features. You can switch between 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes for different harmonic characteristics. The EQ can be switched to run pre or post saturation. Saturation and EQ are separately switchable. Also there is a 2x oversampling mode using a very high quality resampler algorithm. Use 2x mode to attenuate aliased distortion harmonics. Also new is a mix control to blend the processed sound with the original. And finally, TS-2 has a gorgeous new interface.

Tired of square wave clipping distortion? Try the demo. Tube Saturator 2 will not disappoint.

Tube Saturator 2 v2.11

- AAX format no longer requires Pace/iLok licensing. The installers give user the option of using either WA or Pace licensing for AU/VST2/VST3 and AAX formats.

- Fixed a bug in UI code that could cause knobs to display incorrectly, or could cause crash, when multiple instances were in use.

- Low level parameter code rewritten. Should fix clicks that were possible when enabling/disabling sections.

- When demo mode has expired, the preset display will show "demo expired” and the bypass button will be lit. A helpful tooltip message will indicate that registration is required.

Almost anything is possible in the digital world. With the right skills and technology you can create absolutely anything you like... like the U78 Saturator. So we took the circuitry of the legendary U73b compressor and played around a bit to come up with some seriously satisfying saturation!

To start with, we removed our award-winning U73b Compressor plug-in's compression function. Filters were added, together with the tone control, and, finally, a strong gain control completed the U78 Saturator. We kept the heart and soul of the machine to deliver the beautifully musical tube sound. The result is a saturator that sounds like no other. The U78 Saturator is even better than the real thing, being blessed with the things that dreams are musically made of.

Gain - adjusts the input gain of the saturation circuit. (The higher the settings, the more rich the sound that can be achieved.)

HiPass - sets the cutoff frequency of the high-pass filter, which comes before the saturation circuit in the signal path. (The range is from 30 Hz to 800 Hz - turn the knob to minimum to turn off the HiPass filter.)

Marquis Compressor is a "universal” compressor AAX, AU and VST plugin for professional music production applications. You’ll find a very smooth compression performance in this compressor, coupled with a harmonically-rich sound, both suitable for mixing and mastering. Being "universal” this compressor can be used on a wide range of sound material: individual tracks, stems and mixes, producing "clean” or "colored” sound.

Marquis Compressor plugin was built around a tube triode-modeled amplifier cascade. At low Drive settings this cascade produces a mild harmonic coloration while at higher Drive settings you can get a brutal tube saturation which works great for drums, bass and vocals. At moderate Drive settings this cascade can add a pleasant grit to the mix.

Marquis Compressor features a unique "round” signal level detection algorithm, which creates a very open, punchy, compressed sound with an impressive transient response. Beside this, Marquis Compressor offers a classic feedback (opto) compression mode switchable to a more common feed-forward compression.

Marquis Compressor carries 3 distinctive compression algorithms, one of them (T3) being modeled after a classic analog compressor. The Gate algorithm is also available which is handy at reducing drum bleed in drum tracks.

The brandnew GRIP valve drive compressor by CFA-Sound is a powerful dynamic processor, which delivers compression with character! The hybrid design features an accurate emulation of legendary german vintage tubes of the 1960s and a modern VCA compressor workhorse. Together they create a powerful fusion of both worlds – vintage and modern at once.

With the flexible and intuitive design, you can use GRIP as vintage compressor with the warm and rich sound of the valve tube circuit, or without to have a clean-as-possible compressor on your track. Both core elements featuring a mix control, so you can also make use of the famous "New York”/parallel compression. AND it also means, you can use GRIP as pure valve drive effect – to warm up vocals, give drums more egde or basslines way more heat!

Futhermore the valve drive emulation features 2 different taste of drive – Triode aswell as Pentode mode. Triode will enhance the sound in a more musical way by adding even harmonics and that "warmth”, while the Pentode mode will add more odd harmonics and makes the sound more crunchy.

Bus Driver is an optical compressor that provides a wide range of compression effects, reminiscent of the best vintage compressors made in the ‘60s.

Compression is one of those studio processes that is all too often taken for granted and not usually used to its full potential. Today’s producers think nothing of inserting compressors on every single channel of their DAW when mixing, but old school engineers had to learn to make the most of only a few units of compression and this made them learn them inside out to use them to their best advantage. Bus Driver is modelled on the classics from the 'golden age' of tube compressors.

Also included in Bus Driver is a Tube-Driver Saturation feature. It allows you to add the sound of a vintage tube amplifier giving you the differing electronic characteristics of triode, tetrode, and pentode vacuum tubes. So you can add the vintage warmth of the those models of the classic tubes (e.g. ECC83, 12AX7, etc..) to your tracks or on your mix bus.

Nomad Factory designed an Output Stage Soft-Clipping to eliminate digital clipping at any output level and produce a smoother distortion characteristic. This feature is in addition to the Tube-Driver Saturation Modeling included in Bus-Driver.

Fielding DSP Reviver v1.3.3 WiN MacOSX-R2R Fielding DSP Reviver v1.3.3 WiN MacOSX-R2R
Soft / Audio Soft 4-06-2016
Reviver creates harmonic distortion, a sound which is often connected to vintage gear. It does not emulate analog equipment, but instead gives the user full control of overtone generation and volume. Despite this high level of controllability, Reviver's user interface is intuitive and provides the desired result after just a few mouse clicks.

Second-Order Harmonics
Second order harmonic overtones play an important role in the sonic coloration that tube amplifiers add to audio. The sound produced by tubes is often perceived as "warm" and "smooth". Using Reviver it is possible to add second order harmonics to your sound in a very precise way.

Third-Order Harmonics
Third order harmonic overtones change a sound more aggressively, with the effect often referred to as "punch", "fatness", or "detail". These overtones are also created by tape and overdriven solid state amplifiers. With Reviver you have exact control over third-order harmonic generation to give your sound that extra lift.

Anti-Alias Filter
A general problem of digital distortion plug-ins is that instead of only generating the desired harmonic overtones, they also create aliasing artifacts, i.e. overtones which are in disharmony with the original signal. Aliasing is an exclusively digital problem that does not appear in analog signal processing. Reviver is completely free of aliasing in audible frequencies. Click here to find out more about aliasing.

Serial Mode
In serial mode Reviver first adds second order harmonics to the signal before adding third order harmonics. The result is a different harmonic content and stronger saturation.

Fielding DSP has announced that Reviver, the harmonic distortion plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows, has been updated to v1.3.3 and is now Mac OS X Yosemite compatible.
